Database Options
Homebase
If you are using Homebase from ABE then you need to follow these instructions
1/ Start Homebase
2/ On the menu go to File - Import / Export - Export
3/ Ensure that you have the correct export criteria (i.e. changed from)
4/ Click OK
5/ You can use the default file name (unless you want to purge, then use purge as the file name)
6/ Select "Homebase" as the Save As Type
7/ Save your file
8/ Use FTP to upload that file to BookLovers or log in and use the browser
option.
9/ BookMonitor™ will process your file within the next 12 hours
BookList
If you are using Booklist from Clique then follow these instructions
1/ Start Booklist
2/ Click "search" on the menu
3/ Enter your criteria (usually Unsold and date criteria)
4/ Click "search" again
5/ When you have the search results (books found ###) click "export"
on the menu
6/ Select Tilde Delimited for database back up as the file of type required
7/ Enter "adds" as the file name for unsold books
8/ Enter "deletes" as the file name for sold books
9/ Use FTP to upload that file to BookLovers or log in and use the browser
option.
10/ Log into the site and you will be asked whether you wish to run your
updates.
Note. The first file that you send us should be your complete database of books for sale. That needs to be done by email and should be in the same format as above. Please also note that you can zip the file to decrease the time taken to email it. I recommend WinZip for that purpose
